RE: Recent Events

I would like to say a few words about the events of the past few days. There has been a split in the U.S. Chito-kai organization. It is sad after so many years of training together we now must go different ways as we travel different paths to our mutual goals.

"These are the goals we have sought together in the past"

This is part of life and living. The only thing in life that is really permanent is change itself.

To those who have voiced faith in me and my leadership and stayed the course with me I say, "thank you very much." I appreciate your loyalty and will never forget you. In the coming years we will train, progress and grow together.

To those who left, and those who have been loyal. I will close with the following:

Always seek perfection of character in your training.
For the serious student, martial arts training must be a twenty four hour a day task.
Be faithful, refrain from violent behavior, and never loose your beginner's mind .
Remember Bujutsu is primarily about fighting and killing.
Budo on the other hand is about seeking enlightenment and becoming a better person through martial arts training.
Good-bye to those who left and thank you to those who have remained.

The United States Chito-kai is alive and well.
